Renovatio este unul dintre cei mai mari dezvoltatori de proiecte de energie verde din România, activitatea companiei în acest sector suprapunându-se chiar cu perioada de boom a pieţei.
Printre cei care au cumpărat proiectele dezvoltate de Renovatio se numără EDP Renovaveis (EDPR), divizia de energie regenerabilă a grupului Energias de Portugal. EDP Renovaveis a investit, potrivit calculelor ZF, aproape 800 de milioane de euro în România, într-un parc de proiecte de energie regenerabilă de 521 MW, din care 471 MW sunt proiecte eoliene, restul fiind solare.
În acest moment, Renovatio a ajuns la o reţea de 14 staţii electrice, prima fiind deschisă în parcarea Kaufland din Barbu Văcărescu (Bucureşti). Din acestea, trei staţii sunt rapide, iar până la finalul anului vor fi montate alte 4 unităţi, câte una în Cluj şi Sibiu şi încă două în Bucureşti.

Dan is a recognized expert and advocate for the renewable energy sector in Romania. He holds a degree from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, an MBA from the WU Executive Academy, and a Professional Diploma in Management from the Open University UK. Since 2008, Dan has been managing the local operations of Wien Energie Austria in Romania, overseeing the development and coordination of more than 30 greenfield and brownfield renewable energy projects. Currently, he is heavily involved in the development and construction of over 300 MW of photovoltaic (PV) projects and more than 200 MW of battery storage, while also advancing new company initiatives in the energy supply business. With over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, Dan continues to play a key role. Under his leadership, the local entity has become a leader in green energy production from small hydropower plants. He has also served as an expert speaker in technical discussions of the Energy Commission, particularly on issues related to water costs for small hydro projects. Additionally, Dan is a member of the Foreign Investors Council, where he contributes his expertise to Romanian policymakers and is regularly consulted on legislative matters affecting the business environment.
